Episcopal Decree to Restore the Sunday Obligation

The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass during the COVID-19 pandemic is cancelled as of Saturday June 1st 2024.  Catholics of our diocese shall resume the obligation to attend Sunday mass.  Also, the permission to share the Cup to receive Holy Communion under both species is re-established, as is the permission to receive Communion on the tongue for those who wish to do so.  The official decree signed by Archbishop Desrochers is available by clicking here.
