We are a committee whose function is the coordination of the different players in missionary activity as well as the integration of missionary activity in Diocesan pastoral ministry. The committee informs, incites, and supports the initiatives of persons, organizations, and parishes in projects and undertakings created to answer the different needs of the Pontifical Missionary Societies. These are: the Propagation of the Faith – the Holy Childhood Association, the St. Peter the Apostle Societies and the Pontifical Missionary Union.

• Propagation of the Faith contributes to evangelization and catechesis in 1,100 of the less fortunate dioceses; finances more that 6,000 projects annually throughout the world.

• Pontifical Societies of St. Peter the Apostle support more than 81,000 seminarians, more than 942 seminaries and dozens of religious noviciates in Africa, Asia, Oceania and South America.

• Holy Childhood Associations invite children to a universal perspective and finance education and evangelization projects. The associations finance some 3,000 projects annually throughout the world.

• Pontifical Missionary Union participes in the missionary formation of priests, religious and pastoral agents.
