The visit ad limina means, technically, the obligation incumbent on the bishops to visit, at stated times, the "thresholds of the Apostles", Sts. Peter and Paul, and of presenting themselves before the pope to give an account of the state of their dioceses. This visit also includes visits and meetings with different congregations at the Vatican. It is scheduled to take place between the 11th and 22nd March.
