SACREMENT OF THE SICK - A special celebration will be held as part of the Jubilee Year. As you know, World Day of the Sick is on 11 February. To better accommodate all our sick who wish to participate in this celebration, the Christian community of the Archdiocese of Moncton will welcome you to a Mass with the Anointing of the Sick on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Cathedral.
Through the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, Christ brings us his presence, which is comfort in times of suffering, support in times of trial, strength in times of illness and a presence among the elderly. 
The Mass will be presided over by Archbishop Emeritus Ernest Leger.
